A New Era of Inclusion
Zenclusion is built upon 3 ingredients to make the recipe that makes video games the most accepted as they can be:
1. Zen – A state of calmness in which one’s actions are guided by intuition.
2. Inclusion – The act of accommodating people who have historically been excluded (i.e. race, gender, sexuality, or ability)
3. Video Games – The most awesome form of interactive software that allows us to experience the highest of joys.
Transparent Pricing
Our clients pay $50 per hour, per tester or consultant. Many things in life are complicated, our pricing structure is not.
No sign up required to get a quote, no ramp-up fees or other surprise fees.
First-Hand Experience
Our testers & consultants are validating your video game in their niches.
For example, if you want us to test for Arachnophobia, our testers & consultants will be those who deal with varying levels of Arachnophobia themselves.
Full Service Evaluation Agency
There are dozens of QA, sensitivity & consulting firms out there, and yet none can validate all niche needs – except us.
Tone sensitivities for underrepresented groups and excluded individuals, phobias & trigger warnings – we can test as much or as little as you want so your players can be Zen.
About
Zenclusion Solutions & Services
As part of our service offering, we can for $500/game create QR codes that you can use for marketing purposes. These are branded uniquely to your studio, publisher, or specific game it’s your choice!
The QR codes will lead your potential gamer to a score sheet that verifies that your video game had been tested by us for various inclusion factors & accommodation scores.
What we don’t offer:
Currently we are not a full-service QA firm. We do not offer your traditional bug testing. We still report any bugs we encounter. However, when it comes to the skillset, expertise, and experience in sensitivity & inclusion testing – nobody can do it like us.
Features
What We Offer
Whether you want the most successful launch possible and avoid negative press or represent underrepresented groups in an accurate and respectable fashion, we can help you with our dedicated Zenclusion testers who are part of these groups.
We also offer Accessibility testing & consulting through some our testers & consultants who have themselves different conditions such as vision, mobility, or hearing disabilities.
Another area we can help testing in is phobias. Such as Arachnophobia (fear of spiders), Thalassophobia (fear of water), Acrophobia (fear of heights), etc.
Often our testing & consulting isn’t to ensure phobias are avoided. Instead, it serves as a gauge for the developers & publishers that they’re either mitigated or that players are warned about phobias they might encounter pre-sale.
Player Backlash Mitigation
There have been many issues & potential solutions when it comes to phobias, deadnaming, excluding poor players, etc. in recent years.
Even the biggest companies can make these mistakes by assuming, instead of validating. Don’t leave your game launch up to chance, let us verify your assumptions and ensure a smooth drama-free launch day.
Representing Underrepresented Groups
According to the 2022 IGDA Developer Satisfaction Survey, only 8% of developers are Non-Binary, Genderfluid, or Two-Spirit and 7% Transgender.
Due to this lack of exposure, many developers simply don’t know how to consider these underrepresented groups. Our testers & consultants belong to those groups ensure you’re representing minorities appropriately.
Accessibility Testing
According to the ESA 2020 report, about 46 million video game players have some sort of disability.
Inaccessibility can stem from many areas such as mobility, cognitive, vision, hearing, language barriers, etc. We have testers & consultants with these backgrounds to improve your accessibility features to include as many players as possible.

Approach
Zen + Inclusion = Happy Gamer
Zen and Inclusion together make Zenclusion. It is our goal to immerse as many gamers as we can and allow them to maximize their fun.
We understand that there are some games where you can, for example, adjust the settings to mitigate phobias and include more potential gamers. Satisfactory & Grounded both include Anti-Arachnophobia (fear of spiders) features to let those who are afraid of spiders still enjoy these sandbox construction games.
Then there are games like Subnautica which cannot be adjusted for the related Thalassophobia (fear of water) since the entire game revolves around being underwater.
However, game developers & publishers still can publish a list of potential triggers, phobias, and positive accommodations in marketing material pre-sale to keep gamers happy & educated. Check out our Score Sheet as an example by clicking here of what you can expect to get from us.
What do we mean by Zen?
Zen – A state of calmness in which one’s actions are guided by intuition.
To us ‘Zen’ is synonymous with gaming terms like ‘being in the zone’. It is a state of mind when you are so focused and immersed on an intuitive level that nothing can disrupt you or stop your fun. And we want as many gamers as possible to reach this state.
What do we mean by Inclusion?
Inclusion – The act of accommodating people who have historically been excluded (i.e. race, gender, sexuality, or ability)
It is our mission to allow as many individuals as possible to be heard, seen, and understood. Simultaneously, we want game developers & publishers to be sensitive where & when applicable to not make people feel further excluded.
Player Backlash Mitigation
The biggest mistakes can be made by a lack of validation. Don’t leave your game launch up to chance, let us verify your assumptions and ensure a smooth, drama-free launch day.
QR Code Score Sheets
The QR codes will lead your potential gamer to a score sheet that verifies that your video game had been tested by us for various inclusion factors & accommodation scores.
LGBTQ, Racial & Cultural Tone QA
Due to lack of exposure to underrepresented groups, many developers struggle on how to include them. Our testers & consultants will ensure the game for fair representation.
Phobia & Trigger Testing/Consulting
Often our testing isn’t to ensure phobias are avoided. Instead, it serves for the developer & publisher that they’re either mitigated or that players are warned about phobias pre-sale.
Years of Experience
While Zenclusion has been founded in 2022, our testers & consultants have been on average active in games for over 10 years. Let our expertise speak – contact us today!
